Betrand Unwan, who just goes by Bertrand was born in 2002 in Lagos State,the western part of Nigeria. He hails from edo state, Nigeria but was brought up in Lagos, where he attended primary and secondary school after which he earned his first school leaving certificate and WAEC certificate. He is currently a student of Covenant University, where he studies electrical and electronics engineering.
For Bertrand, the singing passion dates as far back as primary and secondary school where he got regular compliments about his voice and style of music. He sometimes sang at concerts where he graced the audience with his beautiful talent.
Recently, he took a step further, moving out of his comfort zone,and started posting videos of song covers he had done.
Inspired by other young artists,Bertrand decided to keep going, giving himself chances to grow. It was during this time that his producer….heard him and decided that the talent couldn’t pass him by.
Betrand, known for his intelligence and mental prowess decided to venture a little and test the waters with the release of his first song; Bustop and in his words,
